Biography

Chingotto was born in Olavarría (Buenos Aires) on April 13, 1997. Although his love of padel tennis began as a child, it was not until he was 14 years old that he became a professional player where he began to compete in various competitions in his native country. From a young age he showed his worth that has led him to be on the list of the best padel tennis players in the world.

Over time, he continues to climb positions and becomes an official member of the Argentine national team in sub 16 and 18 , to later proclaim himself champion in sub 18 in pairs and in teams, which begins to give him a lot of recognition. After some time in the year 2016, he meets the one who would become his partner to date , Juan Tello .

Over time they go up in categories and positions, being number 1 in the Argentine circuit. It is after this that they make one of the decisions that would be key in their professional career.

The couple decides to fly to Spain for three months to be able to improve professionally and compete in the most recognized tournaments worldwide.

Although it is one of the best decisions they made, it was very difficult for the player since he was only 19 years old , which also meant leaving his entire family behind for a while . Although at first it was going to be a three-month trip, it turned out that it would take longer since this would help them become known in Spain until they became the players they are now.

The beginnings in the World Padel Tour

The change was not easy at all since at first it was difficult for him to adapt, but he did not give up until he really began to become known in 2016 . It is here that they compete in the Alicante Open in which they were eliminated in the round of 16 against Paquito Navarro and Sanyo Gutierrez. Here his name begins to be more recognized being considered by many one of the most charismatic players in the entire World Padel Tour.

It is not until the following year that the couple begins to progress remarkably. It is in 2017 when they appear at the Valladolid Open where they reach the semifinals for the first time, but this would not be the last time since the same thing happens again at the Alicante Open, this time against Fernando Belasteguín and Pablo Lima.

In the year 2020 they manage to reach their first final , facing Alejandro Galán and Juan Lebrón in which although they give everything they do not manage to win it, however it is a very important milestone for the couple, thus marking their first final.

In that same year, one of the most important moments for the player occurs, he wins the 2020 Open de las Rozas together with his partner, in which they competed with Paquito Navarro and Pablo Lima, thus receiving his first World Padel Tour title.

Compared to last year, his level has only improved, remaining in the semi-finals of matches such as the Valladolid Master or the Damm Barcelona Master, among others.

Only in the year 2021 did he manage to add more than 6,000 points, which has helped him climb positions in the World Padel Tour ranking . 2022 holds another very good year for the player who is nicknamed the mouse, in which he will continue with his partner Juan Tello.

His plans for this season include the World Cup in Qatar, which would be one of the first World Cups he plays in and in which, of course, he wants to go and give it his all.
